Hi All,
I just pick up Holm River Runner Static bow last week, it's replacing
my old, old Bear Grizzly bow.
I shot it today at the bow club and showed it off.
a friend said if I find one for sale BUY it. so I did :-)[attachment=1,msg3035943][attachment=2,msg3035943][attachment=3,msg3035943][attachment=4,msg3035943]
I remember that bow from his stock bow page. I always thought it was a good looking bow. I have one of his regular River Runners.
Love new bow days,congrats!
Wow that's cool, wish I could find that stock bow page.
He passed away a few years ago Earl. He was a cool guy I dealt with him quite a bit,and was heading up there for his bow class the next year, and he unexpectedly passed.
Looks like good hooks!!!
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2: :campfire:
Nice looking Bow! Lots of Blacktail in the West Covina mountains and Angeles National Forrest. I had a huge racked buck haunt me for two years there!
:clapper:
Sweet bow! I have an Osprey longbow. Chad made some awesome bows!
You're going to love it, I think I have a total of 8 or 9 of Chads works of art !! I believe them to one of the best performing bows ever made. And I have had a bunch of well made top of the line bows. I miss Chad so much, he was taken way to soon !!
Now I have to find one of Chad Holm R/D longbow, that would be awesome, if anyone
would like to sell one please let me know. Thanks Earl
Alexander,, What does a regular river runner look like.
I'll post a pic. It has working limbs instead of the static limbs.
You know I'm going to have to look that up. :biglaugh: while you upload pic.
what working limb mean.
I don't really understand it either. I know they have a different feel when you pull them back.

Nice looking bow, but I don't see the difference. lol remember I'm just starting out
shooting stick bow.
ok I see the difference, the tip on mine has more curve at the end.
I'm guessing that's the different between the two bows, maybe
the limbs are longer, lol I don't know.
