I was out shooting today and this happened...

It is pretty painful when it is a self nock but I was impressed with the sinew wrap at the nock. I was shooting a bow I got from James Parker at the Classic this year, 50#@26", boo back and belly High Country. The shot was from 15 yards.

It is painful, but I'll take it every time I can get it.
Nice shooting!
:o
I think I'd break down and cry doing that.... Those are some nice self nocks.
Nice! Sorta 🤣
It is a bit of a bummer. I think I'll try to repair it by splicing on another section and cut a new self nock. I enjoy making arrows and making them with self nocks so coming up with a repair should come in handy if it works. If not, that's the breaks. :bigsmyl:
Well I feel your pain but that's why we make more :bigsmyl:
Yeah, Blake, that's why we make more! :bigsmyl:
