I started my St Judes auction knife today...turkey femur bone knife. The wild turkey femur donated by Philbow as I'm only occasionally hunting anymore. I should finish it in a day or so. Knife is OAL 7 1/4" with 3 1/4" blade. It will come with Kydex neck sheath...tippit

The amount of talent you posses is amazing. Just yesterday I was looking at a tippit broad head I won in a St Judes Auction a few years back that I took a pronghorn with. So cool
Randy,
Thank you for your kind words. Trad Gang has been very important for me for a long time. My forging/blacksmithing started here some 20 years ago. Dough Campbell taught me through PM's! He is such a great teacher always positive and encouraging. I would hammer something out, send him a picture, and no matter what it looked like he would complement it. Then rather than saying that looks like crap (which it did) and give up...he would say next try to fix one thing. Not only did he teach me how to forge but also how to teach. Trad Gang seems to have a lot of good teachers!
This knife is just rough forged. I'll add finished product in a day or so...tippit
Doug is 1 in 7.9 billion. He has taught me so much. My interactions with him have been so similar to yours. He came by the house one day and gave such meaningful advice the corrected some major mistakes. I would not be making blades today if not for Doug. He has inspired so many.
Awesome knife as usual Jeff!
St Judes Turkey Knife Finished. I'll post in the auction listings...for the Kids!
