I have been shooting Carbon Express 250 Heritage shafts for many years. My supply is almost gone. Now that they are discontinued, any recommendations on a traditional shaft close to the ones I have been using?
It looks like the Heritage 250s were 400 spine. Big Jim's currently has 400 spine Center shots (also now discontinued) for less than $50.00 a dozen. I believe these would be fairly close, but I always seem to have to return when switching brands. Best of luck. Other choices offhand would be Traditional Only shafts from 3rivers, black eagle trads or Easton axis(a bit skinnier).
Re-tune. Spell check :jumper:
if you still want a 6.5 mm shaft goldtips new traditional shaft is 6.5 only 9 grns per inch, but lots of options for inserts,
shot the heritage for many years, I have 17 left, keep them in the vault :biglaugh:
What rifleman said if that spine will work. Even though they are discontinued they are still good shafts.
If these don't work Big Jim's has some Dark Timber shafts that will, give him a call.
Thank you for the recommendations. I have enough Carbon Express Heritage arrows for hunting season. I will begin the process of tuning new arrows after hunting season.
