Decided to finally camo my hunting longbow & I'm very happy with the results. Used three colors of flat paint with multiple coats of flat clearcoat. Finish is very durable. Used a seasponge for pattern. I think it shoots better too!![attachment=1]

What the heck, last one![attachment=1]
Using a sponge! That is brilliant! Man, I wish I thought of that when I did mine a year ago- removed it. That is a darn good job you did. Thanks for the idea too!
nice job, been thinking of camoing one of my bows that has black glass.
maybe it will make it shoot better too, :biglaugh:
Here's my arsenal of items used. I sprayed bow with the Khaki color, then sprayed the other colors into plate & dipped sponge & applied to bow. Dries quickly & then sprayed three coats of clear flat finish. It really seems to be a good, durable finsh too. [attachment=1]
Also, lightly dampening sponge with water makes it soft & easy to use.
Nice job sir!!!
That came out really nice!
WOW!!! Now THAT, is COOL!!!!
Kinda looks like natural "digi-cam"
Nice job, bud!
Good looking camo job!
Well done, it actually looks like someone that knew what they were doing did it. I've seen some that looked rather like they had been painted in the dark by a kid. your paint job looks like a pro did it.
With that camo animals won't be able to see you which will make you relax and that is why you shoot better. Giggle giggle.
You might want to tie a bright feather as a wind indicator so you can find it leaned against the tree!!!

Got my bow all setup & ready to go to work in a couple of weeks. Good luck to everyone out there this season![attachment=1]
