We are proud to announce the new team (Danny Breault and Tim Shiver) at The Waldrop Company. Home of the Waldrop PacSeat. We have joined forces with David Waldrop in the manufacturing and development of new and exiting additions. We have successfully engineered a Turkey that is ready for shipping. The Turkey Seat is similar to the Standard PacSeat with the exception of it sitting roughly 8 inches lower. We have also developed a GameSac for mounting to any of the PacSeats. We are in the process of developing more exciting additions and will be posting those in the near future. We have plenty of stock on both the Standard PacSeat as well as the Turkey PacSeat. Now is the time to purchase! Please don't wait until hunting season as they will go fast. We would love any feed back you have on your experience with the PacSeat. I am really glad to see this for all of you. David builds a really great seat with a great design and he worked his butt off to stay ahead of the orders. He built a loyal following and now ya'll are going to be able to make them faster with the same quality.
I'm also glad to hear ya'll are working on new items. I wish ya'll the best.
I have owned the Pacseat for a decade and its the best seat I've ever used. I loaned it to a friend and he doesn't want to give it back. :biglaugh:
Yes, what he said ^^^^^ :clapper:
I agree with it as well. Something I can pass down. Hard to find quality like this anymore. :clapper:
That's great news! The only nick for me has been lead times but I get it. Plus I have one already so not a big deal but my buddy was to impatient to wait.
We now have plenty in stock ready to ship. Thank you greatly for replying.
This is great news... I have really gotten some use out of mine and may need another one soon. Do you have any photos or info on the game sacks? Didn't see anything on the website...
Built to last. I have had mine for bunch of years and I love it.
We will have pics up the first of the week. We are working hard to get the web site up to date. As soon as I have the pics, I'll post them here. Thank you for you interest!
I love my Waldrop pac seat. Any changes coming up with design?

We have made a turkey seat that is 8" lower. We also have a custom game sac that mounts to eather seat. We are in the process of designing some additional addons to include a bow/gun mount for carrying as well as quiver holder...others to come!

I'm looking forward to that !
Great product. Nice to hear that you're expanding.
Baddest hunt seat on the planet. :readit:
Look for the game bag post. :campfire:
Love my Packseat!!
I got my Packseat from Dave and love it, it is the most comfortable seat used. But more important it is versatile, use a tree or middle of corn field it works great. Awesome that you all are going to do "add-ons". The ability to have a quiver on it I think will make a huge difference. I may suggest a waist belt extender some of us bigger guys and/or guys who layer a lot may appreciate it. If looking at the waist belt, it might be worth taking from other's in adding a pouch or one on each side, or something that added on, so things like compass/release/pruner, be readily accessible.
My pack seat really shines when I hike in a few miles with camp on my back and them with luck, hike out with some hog meat strapped to it.
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2: :campfire:
Great suggestions on the belt....we will definitely look at that and may even be able to do something about your belt length. I will get with David and see what we can come up with. Thank you again for your interest in the Waldrop PacSeat!
Bought my PacSeat from David. Great Guy! Both my sons want it, but they'll have to wait for the reading of my will to see who gets it . . .
How tall does the seat set? How far off the ground? After double knee replacement, a seat that's low ends up really uncomfortable
I'm 5'11" and have had both knees replaced and love my PacSeat. You can adjust the straps and the seat itself to make it more suitable for your preferences.
Getcha one...you won't regret it.
You can find all kinds of used tree stands for sale not likely a PacSeat unless someone dies.
The Turkey Seat sits roughly 5" off the ground. The Standard PacSeat sits roughly 8" higher.
With nothing but positive feedback I know I am the exception but I am having problems getting comfortable in mine. The front bar seems to cut circulation off to my legs and/or the seat puts pressure in a narrow area unless I keep by legs overly spread, putting the front bar entirely between them.
I have played some with changing the seat cordage length and angle via the back leg but haven't been able to find a sweet spot. I will probably try and call Dave sometime this week for suggestions. Just wondering if I am the only one. 5' 8", 150 lbs?
I have absolutely no complaints with the silent operation, weight, or build quality. :)
This is one of David Original. I cut my legs off 4" years ago. I have killed a grand and royal bow slam with mine. It's my most important assessory for last 20 plus years Bowhunting birds. Plus dove hunting. Kids baseball games and campfire visits!!
That is AWESOME!!!!
Just checked out the website and was looking at the Game Sac. Has anybody used that to carry a blind? If so, how well does it work for that?
Look back to early April. I have a thread where I show how I carry mine with addition of some fish net zip tied to make a pocket on the leg brace
I tried to fixe them virticle for you, and succeeded on a few but lost one that wasn't meant to be deleted as I didn't know in what order you posted them. It's easy when there are one or two.
Thanks JoeBuck.... you are a great testimony.
