Opens in the morning here, was tons of birds where I plan to hunt last fall, not so much now. They are pretty quiet, but I'm sure they are around.
Sleeting now and 32 in morning . We will see how it goes... :bigsmyl:
No blind for me, hate being inside one . Have a home made shaggy jacket in pack , gotta decide if I want to pack decoys ...
Kill one or no, it'll be great to be out and about .
Sharped and ready

I love turkey hunting! Good luck everyone!
Good luck Kenny - why is the broadhead edges red?
Tim B
I sharpie them to help prevent rust
Don't like any oil or grease in quiver to attract dirt.
Usually use black but the red looks cool and that's what was handy...
He's pretending he got blood on them:)
I did but it was mine...
Our season opened last Wednesday with heavy rain, had 5 jakes come in but no Gobblers, Thursday was 30-50 mph winds and 25 deg. Friday the same so I stayed in bed and at 7:09 my trail cam showed 2 longbeards going by my blind! Tomorrow is another day, good luck to all!
Was fortunate and harvested a gob yesterdayp on opening day in Oklahoma...heading to Texas on Monday to pursue more rio's.
