Ok I'm looking for ideas on how to display a few racks that I cut the skull plate (not euro mount). I'm thinking of possibly putting three on a rough cut board and putting pegs under to hang a bow. If you have some cool way other than a standard plaque, please share pictures.
I pulled a section of well weathered wood siding off of an old outbuilding. It is comprised of 3-4 boards that overlap one another and run horizontally. The section is about 18 inches tall and five feet long. I put it on a wall in my den and mounted several skull mounts to it. It generally receives a lot of positive comments. I will try to come up with a picture.
Here's how I've done a couple of mine...

yes!! Thank you
I'm sure not what you are looking for, but it's interesting.
Sean, these are Europeans but you could do the same with skull caps and probably have room for some hangers below. This is an old gate or fence post...
Hopefully someone can help rotate them :knothead:
Sorry, I tried... :dunno:
Thanks Kaz. That's pretty much what I'm looking for. I was also thinking a wide rough plank and making a bow rack with some antlers spread across the top horizontally.
I like using old barn wood for stuff like that. Wrapping some barbed wire and stuff like that looks really good as well.
Here ya go—-
There is a thread over on *********** that has some really good photo's with ideas for you.
Kaz, I like that idea a lot. Especially since they look so good in a corner. Thanks for the idea!

Yes, that is really creative and jaw droping.
This is a board from the old camp I belonged to in the Adirondacks. I found a few racks, a couple were my Uncles who got me started bow hunting 1967!!
Here is how I display my shed antlers.
