Thank you to all the diehard PBS members who made the trek to Reno for our Biennial banquet. With all what's going on, I was a little skeptical but you all came through!! I would also like to thank everyone for their generous donations, we had way more than we anticipated. We had originally had the idea of simulcasting the Friday and Saturday nights auction on line but we pulled the plug due to some technical difficulties as well as the time difference. And a huge thank you to all the PBS members who stepped up and pitched in to help. It seemed like it was most of you. See you all in 2024 in Lexington Ky!!!
Reno was my first PBS Banquet it wont be my last my wife and I had a great time got to meet a lot of folks that I look up to and everyone was so down to earth, I have heard it said the PBS is a Family that is a true Statement .
Sorry, I missed it. Only, made the San Antonio one, it was local. Met some awesome folks.

Yeah, I made it to Philly and San Antonio, ... then everything went down hill with my dad and I had to hold my travels for my family and hunts. My wife LOVED those events. Lexington we can do.... nice drive up I-75, go by there several times a year to see our girls in college in Dayton. Lexington is absolutely beautiful country.... and the horse farms :readit:
I've read a few posts here and there about Reno, really wish we could have been there, but my youngest was on stage and I aint missing that.
I would love to see some pics if anyone would like to share.
Won this commerative bow /knife at the silent auction . made and signed by Paul Brunner.
He was a main inspiration for me in my trad archery formative years.

Sandy and I had a great time, thanks to all of the hard work to put on a great banquet. This is our second in a row together, and Sandy is hooked. Already making plans for Lexington, going to make a long vacation out of it. Looking forward!

I think I can speak for most and say we did!! This was my 5th in a row and they're just a lot of fun. I've made some great friends and gone on some cool hunts because of them. I had a ton of laughs.
Karen and I had a great time with everyone and are making plans for the next one. Always a good time. Many thanks to council for all their work!
It was a great success both socially and financially, and I thank all who came just to participate, who donated, who bought stuff, who spoke at seminars, and who volunteered to help out. For me, this is the only event that I will never miss that doesn't involve chasing a critter somewhere. Just too many great interesting people who share the same passion I do and that I simply do not get to see enough.
Aaaaand , it looks like Ill be hog hunting next year for the first time in my life. Another bonus to the banquet!

thats awesome!! It's definitely a benefit, I've hunted Georgia, Alaska, Texas and a bunch of other places because of friendships made through gatherings.
It was great as always to see everyone. I'm already looking forward to Lexington. Matt, Norm and I will look for the email providing the dates for the Illinois and Hawaii hunts. We will be there just let us know! HA!
Glad to hear a great time was had. Not surprised either. PBS knows how to throw a party ! I hope to make the next one.
It was a great event as always. I usually don't make it very far past the registration table on Thursday as there's too many great friends to catch up with. Life is too short to not go.
Top notch fellars
