So, Tarz was in TX on that Laredo hunt same as my other post. And when he returned I asked him "What's this stuffy stuff"? as I pointed to these two containers I've seen him use before on our steaks and chicken and what not. Let's see if I can do this again.

He told me it was another one of Tradgang's sponsors Shifty's Seasoning. Then he asked if I had used it and I told him yes. He replied "on what"? I told him everything! And he just laughed. Then again he asked "which one did you use" and I said both! Again he laughed.
This stuff is amazing! My parents came over for dinner and I even put it on their baked potatoes and they loved it. I've been using it ever since. Of course Tarz has been using it on our meals for a year now. He just can't seem to ever get away from his Traeger grill, and I'm certainly not going to stop him! There are definitely benefits of being a hunters wife.
So, I'm glad to see some good folks sponsoring Tradgang now that I can relate to. It's really nice after all these years. So, many thanks to Backwoods and Shifty's. Much appreciated!
YEAY! My picture worked again!
Absolutely great seasonings!!! I just ordered the trifecta, and am patiently waiting and watching the mailbox. :campfire:

Trifecta? Uh oh, looks like we are missing something. Let me check on that. And, I need to get Tarz to change my avatar as that was long ago.

Terry, after seeing pictures of you, your wife, and daughters, I say your daughters are very lucky young women - they look like their MOMMA!

Good news! I just got the report back from the allergist and was told my Alpha Gal problem has nearly cleared itself up. I tested negative for venison, lamb, and pork. Still slightly positive for beef, though. I guess it is now time to order some of the seasonings and go buy a pork roast. I'll let you know how it turns out. Things are looking up! One question, though. Are the seasonings super spicy, or can my wife, who can't handle much heat, enjoy it?
Sam, no, neither is real spicy at all. The red has a 'little heat', but not real hot at all.
Shifty's is definitely good seasoning.
Trifecta and High Noon on the way.
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2:
Trifecta and High Noon coffee are here, let the party begin!!!
