1/2" washer at 20 yards. It did take me 3 arrows to put it through the center without touching the washer though.

Fixed the picture for you..
Excellent shooting...
Thanks Roy for correcting the picture. My third arrow centered through the washer. Surprised even me but more so the compound shooters. They shot dozens of arrows and only a couple got inside the washer. For you information, I didn't shoot again. Quit while I was ahead. :biglaugh: :biglaugh: :biglaugh:
I don't think I could see that washer at 20 yards. Good shooting.
What's your target butt made out of?
For you information, I didn't shoot again. Quit while I was ahead.
LOL
Aim small, miss small!
Backstop is layered foam bales. Typical of most archery shops. To expensive for me at home. They cost nearly $1000 per bale but last a long time.
Shoot brother that's not only great shooting but great seeing even. I'd never see that well
I would shoot that with my pellet gun all day but with a bow I'm not THAT good :biglaugh:
What MGF said except I know I couldnt see it at twenty !!
Awesome shooting sir!
When I still lived in Queens, NYC, I would shoot at a great range that had a lot of Olympic shooters there. They used either a small loop of string or re-enforcements, those little circles to put over the holes in loose leaf paper, as targets on the backstops.
It's actually pretty easy to do if you don't use your bow.
Very cool! I may have to give that a try just to mix things up. Though it may take me 103 tries. :knothead:
Impressive shooting !!!
Impressive looking arrow as well !!
Spliced feathers from turkeys I have shot. I dye the cock feathers myself.
mgf........looks like a Block target butt. The archery club I am a member of have been using Block target butts for years. They are made in Superior, WI.
These bales are 5' X 5' square. Expensive - about $800-$1000 each but last a long time at a busy archery range.
That is some good shooting there my friend....
You want to try something that is fun? hang a ping pong ball on a piece of fishing line sometime. The only way it will pierce the ball is hitting it dead center.... I saw that at a shoot in San Diego one time years ago. You got 3 shots for a dollar in the bucket. I'll bet there was a hundred bucks in that bucket before someone nailed it. Lots of guys hit it though... Great novelty shoot for a 3D gathering.

Attach discharge side of vacuum onto a pvc 3 tube stand. Ping pong balls will dance above the pvc tubes.
Pin a deck of cards (spread out across backstop) with small nails. Shoot for best poker hands. If you miss a card then only 4 cards for your hand. Make fun wagers, then turn cards over to see who has best hand. Try it at 20 yards.
