Just signed up again to have access to classifieds. Already bought a bow and its been less than a week! It is for my son.
I notice there seem to be a lot more "WTB" ads than I've ever seen. Some are trying to find bows by fellows who aren't making bows now and others appear to be bows that have long wait times for a new one (BW).
My question is there seems to be a lot of posts that are very old, back to June 2019. Is it possible such old posts are still valid? Don't we note or delete when "sold" or no longer available?
Thanks
Roy
Well , we should edit the title to SOLD if it is. Otherwise the mods have to look thru each post to know this to delete the ads that are done.
Easy to edit, and polite!
What Kenny said.
It's specified on all the Classifieds boards to edit your ad title to "SOLD" so that a Mod or Admin can remove those ads.
Some people aren't in any hurry to sell a bow, and others would like to buy a bow that is no longer being made, and don't mind waiting until one turns up. Either way, some of those older ads may still be valid.
And...it doesn't take much effort to message someone and ask if it is still available. I've done that before and if the response is "it's sold", I will remind them to edit the ad to reflect SOLD.
Thanks for taking care of this guys...guy's.... :campfire:
