Any break downs on crossbow kills?
i dont know that, i know they ask every time you check a deer if it was a crossbow kill, so im sure they are keeping track of it.
The report I saw did not have the breakdown, but I'd sure be curious!
Thanks for posting the numbers, I didn't hunt Mo. For the first time in several years, I bought a NR license but never made it up.....
Pretty good harvest, 4.21 deer taken per square mile total kill if my math is working...
.87 per sq mile by archery...
But there is a lot of square miles of cities and towns and highways.
I would wager if not 50% crossbow killed deer in Archery season then approaching this for sure.
I just saw the report yesterday. Actually kind of surprising that they said the population is still continuing to climb. I know a lot of people that said they saw less deer than they have in a long time. And gun season around here was pretty lackluster by usual standards.
