It has been almost 30 years since Paul Schafer passed away. Let's take some time to pray, toast, or shot an arrow in Paul's memory. I think all three would be great.

I never had the chance to meet Paul, but have read Silvertip and other things written about him. I also admire his bows, and the tradition carried on by Dave Windauer, as I have never shot any bows that he personally made. He seems to have always lived life to the fullest, sometimes without regard to the consequences, which makes him a colorful addition to the history of traditional archery. So here's to you, Paul! 🥂

Yes, indeed and if you haven't read the book I'd strongly suggest it. You can get it from Silvertip Archery, a Tradgang Sponsor. :campfire:
Unfortunately, or fortunately, depends on how you look at it, the book is sold out.

I think a habit of reading that book several times would not be a bad thing.

Hey fellas,
Just talked to Terry to get his OK with posting this. I have 16 copies of the book I received from Bob, Dave, and Beth to take to shoots. When Covid hit, a lot of our shoots were cancelled and I just didn't get to many. Of the 16 I have left, 10 are perfect, and 6 got a little moisture on the outside edges and stained the bottom and top of some of the pages. ALL monies go directly to the Windauers. For the perfect ones, same price as their website, $29 shipped. The Books with water stains are $19 shipped and I'll pay the difference as it was my fault. I am planning on going to more shoots this summer, but if guys on here want 'em, we can make that happen.
My cell is (715) 577-4751 or just pm me here.
Nate
