I know it is not necessary to tout the amazing service from Asbell wool, but... Just got my ESG Pathfinder and the one I received has a bit more brown than I thought it would. That is GREAT! I'm confident it will fit right in with what I hunt in in Texas. Never mind the model he was the only one around!!!
Asbell wool is amazing and their customer service is great.
looking good.
Looks good and I think they're great as well
Love my Asbel hooded wool pullover.
Yeah man, that color should blend in perfect with this Texas scrub brush, but all that white hair, like mine, is gonna shine like a diamond in a goats a$$....
I'll rub some boot polish into it to dull it a bit.

Lol.... I gotta cover up my whole head.
That's what the Akubra hat is for.

Nice pattern on that wool. What was the turn around time from order to shipping/receiving?
PM sent.

Looks great! That would blend in where i hunt here in Wisconsin.
Beautiful looking piece.
I'm looking to get some Asbell wool myself, but Theresa hasn't gotten back to my email, it's been a week.
Here's hoping evening stand brown comes back in stock.
When I lean against a big gray bark tree....I disappear

Or the tree bends!!! JK! Really enjoy your hawk and neck knife, they ride on every hunt. May get an XL vest or Mackinaw for those really cold mornings. (but I'd have to hunt out of state for that)

Already looking to buy two...you're making me want a third lol.
Asbell wool is hard to beat! I've got 3 or 4 that I rotate depending on the weather and layering needed. Woodland Magic has become my favorite pattern for whatever reason, though they all work well!
Heck yeah, that's good looking wool right there ....... love that pattern and the color tones and contrast are mint. I might have to get me one of those
Woodland Magic would work with hardwoods and leaf cover on the ground. Not so much more open cover. IMVHO. I got the scarf in WM as an accent.

I was thinking this exact thing... Woodland Magic would work a lot better as a scarf while using a more open pattern for the pullover.
Then again, I'd wager you can kill a deer in any pattern they offer.
This cool snap we got in South Texas has made me glad I got another Pathfinder, and also a Cabelas/Bass Pro wind blocker vest for underneath.

I love my Asbell pathfinder. Would not mind in the least adding another to the closet. My favourite piece of kit by far.
Just a question for you guys, I recently bought a pathfinder in xl and it fits well except the sleeves are way long, I've never had that with any other clothing. Is that normal and if so, what do you do about it ? I think I'm going to have to get the sleeves cut down to make it fit right
I have found them a tad long, but not bad, that is advantageous on a cold morning.

Roll them.

I did the same, but went with a Carhartt fleece windblocker.
If you can't 'cuff it' with one turn back, or you just don't want it that long then have them cut off and finished of by a seamstress. I'm sure you have other stuff that they can fix, Lord knows I do.
Thanks guys, I'm trying to avoid a cuff because of arm guard possibly being at or close to the cuff. I'll probably do as Mike advised and just get them altered
Roll the "cuff" to the inside, then tack with a couple of hand stitches. Not that hard. :coffee:
I also found the sleeves to be too long for me. I just had my wife cut and hem to the correct length.
I like BAK's idea.

Definitely, a wind blocker layer for those breezy days, light golf shirt or vest for cooler days. Camo-wool-flage on top for the bone chiller days.

It would be a shame to get blood on it, so I'll have to be careful. Have to pull it off or put a cotton shirt over it.
