Due to travel for work and holiday plans later in December it's looking like my 2021 season ended tonight without a harvest. This was the first year I committed to trad only and I don't regret it one bit. Had plenty of close calls and could've sealed the deal if I had opted for some more modern equipment but I'll take a close call with a recurve over a dead deer with anything else any day. Learned a lot of lessons this year and I'll be anxiously waiting opening day next year with the same bow in my hand and a little bit better game plan. So let's hear how you guys like cooking up some tag soup!
:knothead:
Add tag's to a pot salt and pepper, 2 cups of water bring to a boil then simmer for 1 hour. :biglaugh:
2 parts disappointment, 3 parts depressed, 1 part regret, simmer in it until next fall...
I was told a stew is better. Ask your wife to get some carrots and celery for it, your kids to bring potatoes. Neighbor some meat. Season it the way you like and enjoy it with friends brother.
Be proud of yourself for trying and sticking with it. Imagine how cool it's gonna be next year when you succeed?
It's kinda like lotto scratch offs. Buy enough of them in enough states and you're bound to fill a few.
Honestly though it's never gonna leave a good taste in your mouth no matter how you cook it.
Or you can travel to Texas. Shoot pigs or exotics and have something for fixins to spice up that tag soup
