This is my best buck so far.Took me till age 70 to get it with a longbow. About time, not that big but sure has been a fun ride.[attachment=1]
Got my best last week.
:bigsmyl:
My best with a recurve. Not huge but circumstances make it a great trophy. Shot from a stand about 7 ft high , he was about 9 ft from the base of the tree.
[attachment=1] Only took me 37 years. 10 yd shot, ACX-CX longbow German Kinetics 150gr. broadhead, in Nebraska
This deer died in a pond. It's the first and only deer I have ever retrieved naked. On Google earth the straight line distance from the tree I was in when I shot to the pond was 285 yards. I knew the deer was dead based on shot placement however I made the mistake of getting out of the tree too soon. Was a very hard track. Shot the deer at 5:45 found him at about 10:00 pm. My best buck to date. I'm
Not very good at this btw. But I enjoy it.
I've passed a lot of antlered deer the last three seasons. Always looking for that mature buck, passing the young ones hoping to see then next year.
Finally got a poke at one with some age but not a lot of bone. That said it's probably my 48th (wag) with a bow but only my second with a traditional bow.
My biggest trad critters are African animals. Kudu would be the biggest. As far as whitetails go, this is my highest scoring buck:

But I think this deer was bigger, even though he didn't score as high:

Not only my biggest, but my only trad buck so far. I've killed several bucks, but the first with my recurve was pretty special.

Last year Oct. 2 here at home. I had him cementum aged at 6 1/2 yrs old. Just a scoch under 270 live weight. Never have gotten around to putting a tape on his horns.

Those are some great deer guys! My first trad kill also happens to be my best trad buck. Shot him with a Cold Mountain longbow, cedar shaft, and 125 Grizzly broadhead.
Several that are about the same, but last years is probably the biggest.

My only Trad Buck 2013.
My first and only traditional kill so far. Shot him with a 45# Omega Original longbow in 2014

My first and best...to date
This is my best so far, taken last Friday morning, shot him at 5 yards working a scrape. Trail camera was setup on the scrape and was fortunate enough to get this pic of him looking up at me not a second before I shot him.[attachment=1,msg2982148][attachment=2,msg2982148]

Here's one.[attachment=1]
My best buck
Great bucks guys!!!!
Man, this is a really cool thread!

Not the best scoring antlers for me, but by far the largest bodied buck I have ever seen. Over 300# field dressed. The scale only went to 300#. Was bottomed out.
Osage self bow, river cane arrows, obsidian heads. Taken from the ground.
Not sure which will score better.
Both were great hunts, my deer last year was heavy....dressed out around 200#. This year my buck was smaller but might score better.
This is my buck from this year..... my father inlaw put me to shame. Awesome picture, it's getting framed and hung at my bar.

Gorgeous Buck Congratulations!
This buck was a special one to me for sure, I can remember the hunt like it happened yesterday when he showed up midday Nov 9 on an all day sit

Awesome bucks guys!

Some lifetime achievement bucks in here, and some that although not monsters, I'd be darn proud to take.
Kansas buck in my avatar, nice heavy mass 10pt, recurve 16yd shot went 70yds.
Some monsters in there. All really nice deer. I'd be tickled to take any one of them.
