how many of you have Sasquatch weight stumping/hunting arrows???? awhile ago a friend of mine was messing around and made up a few arrows from driveway reflector hard plastic poles. he footed them at both ends. i always have one in my quiver for a "bomb proof" stumping arrow or if i see a Sasquatch! just got around to weighing one today holy crap Batman!!!!!!
WOWEE KAZOWEE!!!!! :o
What are ya launching it out of, Kenny!!!??
WOW!!!! :scared:
I watched a video 3D Archery with Greg Richards useing/shooting one of those driveway markers he made up. It was funny but they did shoot down range.
Many years ago, I read an article in "Traditional Bowhunter" magazine, about a fellow who used solid fiberglass fish arrows, for his African Cape Buffalo hunt....
I don't remember the gentleman's name, but if my old memory serves me correctly.... :dunno:
He tipped them with 190gr Ribteks. I think he got complete penetration, and even broke a rib!!!
Wasn't it Monty Browning that shot the fish arrows?
Very cool, now I know what I'm doing in the off season
Name rings a bell... I think 4dogs got it right!!
I stump shoot with my hunting arrows..... no worries.
i stump shoot with whatever arrows that my kids did not cart of with...
My kids don't have access to my hunting arrows, among other things that they don't need access too.
Ever kill anything besides stumps?
I have a few Hickory, Red Balau and Spruce that come in at 700 before stain, fletch, points etc. So are closer to 900 when done.
:campfire: :coffee: :archer2:
Ha, 1400+ grains is sure getting up there.
My regular hunting/stumping arrows are Red Balau hardwood that come in at 880-900 grains, and the arrows I chased Water Buffalo with a few years ago were again Red Balau, but weighed 1100 grains.
I thought they were getting heavy.
Aparrently not so :biglaugh:
Best
