Some 60-65 cedar shafts I had laying around fly very weak. So weak sometimes they'll break when the hit the target. According to the spine calculator an 80-85 is would be better, but I'm having hard time finding any. 70-75 is the closest in 11/32". Does anyone have some sources?
My bow specs are: firefly D/R longbow. Cut to center with 1/16" calf hair strike. 54#'s at my 29" draw.
I know 80-85 sounds too heavy, but I think my biggest problem is shaft length. I have to keep them at 32". I checked my draw twice from nock valley to back of handle, measured 31" both times. I like 160 grain points but will drop to 145 if needed. Thanks for any input.
Have you looked at Surewood Shafts?

Yes I did. He's 2-3 weeks out on his orders. I was looking for something a little quicker.
Try bamboo shafts off the bay site. You should be able to find up to 100# spine .
Disregard guys......John at the footed shaft had some. What an excellent guy to deal with! He'll be my go to from now on.
