Hi guys, new member here. Just wanted to say hi and share my first kill of 2021. This hog was shot on June 4th on my buddies property in Duval County, Texas. I was in a treestand that I hung 7ft high in a mesquite tree and the shot was 20yds. I was using a 50# Bear Grizzly with Black Eagle Vintage arrows and a 150gr Magnus Buzzcut. After the hit she ran 60yds and fell over within sight. I started traditional archery last January and I am completely hooked. I am really enjoying this forum and all the information it provides. Thank you all! [attachment=1]

Good on you! The only pigs we have here in NY are all in State Capital...
Welcome. That's a nice hog.
Feral hogs have started moving into Ontario recently. The powers that be (otherwise known as the ministry of anti hunting and fishing) don't want hunters killing them. They think that by studying them, they'll leave the province. The law says that we can kill ferals, so guess what...
Dave.

Hello! Nice hog, congratulations. My wife and I have hunted that country for javelina a few times on the Cadena Ranch, back when Jeff Massey was running the hunts. Sure wish we could get back down there. We both fell in love with the country.
