I've had a couple of clitches lately, but our 'area' has been down twice for 4 & 5 days and in and out, and spotty for a month now.... So I'm hopping that just the culprit but thought I would check and see if anyone else has had any issues?
And, Rob and I don't know what's up with this 'This Site is Insecure' message that pops up from time to time. We are a secure site, and being that Rob and I, plus others, are seeing it, it has nothing to do with my glitches.
Bottom line is we are NOT an insecure site
Must just be in your area. On here daily and no issues.
I had a day last week that my computer wouldn't let me open this site because it was a threat. :dunno:
Couple days later; no problem.
I get it from time to time as well
I always get the non secure message when I log on.
I am in Northeastern California and no problems here.

X2 but it always works fine
Tim B
I had it pop up a couple times???? :dunno:
I just hit the "don't give a shit" over ride, and things worked fine!
Couple days later, all was well!!??
Thank you for the update.
No problems from out here in New Mexico. I haven't seen any glitches or received an "insecure site" message while logging-on.
I always get the insecure message
Periodic and random issue on my end

Seen it some a year or so back but nothing like that recently.
I always get the not secure message.
Update, yesterday when I tried to "save" I got all kinds of flashing screen images.
I got it a couple days last week when I used the saved icon, on my iPhone. But when I just typed in Tradgang, it opened fine with no "unsecured site" message.
Nothing since.
Thanks for posting, Terry. I wondered what was going on. Safari browser would not let me go to the site for 5 days. That was maybe 2 weeks ago. Has been fine lately.
No problems here in Arkansas that I've noticed
The 'title line' in Mozilla Firefox showing what website I'm on, always shows the symbol of a lock with a diagonal red line through it. I'm told this means TradGang is an unsecured site as far as Firefox is concerned.
Never got the not secure message on my PC or laptop, but I get it every time I log in on my phone.
Yeah George, but firefox is wrong, we've been secure for years.
Don, our tech guru Rob DiStefano is looking into it...
Just as an FYI Terry, here's how it comes up on my IPhone.

Ery ting is cool an been dat way down here in da swamp
Thanks Guys.... will alert Rob.... :campfire:
I got the message today. This is the first time I recall seeing it.
I had a similar problem back in 2019, Rob said to check my computer clock, and a few other things. I have not experience the problem since. He may have a copy of the messages regarding the problem.
Trad Gang is server secured via proxy to Cloudflare and has been for a very long time.

If you see otherwise, the problem may be your connection to the Internet or how your browser is interpreting server access.
No matter whether yer browser reports that Trad Gang is "secure" or "insecure", it IS proxied off secure Cloudflare. It's all about the browser - while newer ones seek to route "https" (secure) older ones might default to whatever link address is used, which means that "http" is reported as "insecure" even though the data is encrypted via Cloudflare.
Our Trad Gang server manager and I are going to implement a work-around that will force whatever Trad Gang address is used will default to "https" and therefore show each connection as it really is - encrypted secure.
Trad Gang members - whether Contributing Members or registered forum users - there is nothing in your registration data about you that anyone can't find out about you or use against you, and all modern forum software, such as the SMF that Trad Gang is built on, is encrypted, secure, and only your access password is known to you and no one else, not even Trad Gang Admin.
