You make a good looking bow Roy.
Dave.
Nice bow Roy.
But, who is that decrepit old fart in the full draw pic. 🤔
Thanks guys.
I'm not sure who that old fart is.
Great looking bow Roy!
Stain job is nice, what did you use?
Also like the clean look of the whip stitch on the leather
Looking good old timer.
I guess it's ok.......for a grass bow. :biglaugh:
Nice work buddy.
Yeah, That stitch is a different look.
Stain is black walnut aniline alcohol base dye, with 3 coats of tung oil over top.
WoW...!!! Looking Good there, Royster...
Purty nice there Roy. :clapper:

Notice the TRY word?
LOL
Epic fail , huh?
Very nice. I really like the handle.
That is a great looking bow!
Don't want to give you the big head Roy but that is one of the best I have ever seen, you definitely have the hang of making that type of bow.
Too late about the big head, Eric. :readit:
Beautiful job sir. I need to make one of those sometime. Tried a few just can't get any to the finish line. I do have a piece of boo here from Mr yancey.
Thanks Eric, means a lot to me coming from you and your gizmo helps me get a bow tillered like that.
I use it on every bow I make.
Pat, nuff outta you:)
:bigsmyl:
That's a beautiful piece of work. Is there a pic of the braced profile?
Mark
There is a lot of reluctance from some folk about using a gizmo, I never could understand why.

Makes no sense to me, it is a huge help in getting a smooth bend.

Thanks, Roy. Is that any harder to string than a flat bow of the same weight?
Mark
Nope, strings up real easy with a stringer.
Meh......
:notworthy:
Wow! Very nice!
Goob and Dannon???
What rock have you two been hiding under?
Roy, that is a nice bow. The only thing is the shelf is on the wrong side, or I would be happy to shoot that bow. I am glad to see you are back in the saddle.

Their idiots...
I don't use one but I make glass bows and my bends are somewhat preset... I do use a profile jig that somewhat works like the Gizmo though for checking my bend...
If I made board bows I would be all over that chit... ;) :)
