I have, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very entertaining and very informative. Plenty of "Wensel wisdom". Some good stuff in there, along with a little "maddness" thrown in as well :goldtooth:

I want to get another of the Wensel DVD's now, think its called "Out & About".

Best
Lex

I've watched The Crooked Hat Chronicles. I have all of the Wensel brothers videos on DVD and all their books.

I even have their very first three videos on VHS called. Whitetail Traits Vol:1, Whitetail Tracks Vol:2, and Whitetail Trophies Vol:3.

Thanks for the interest. I hope this is okay with Terry for me to respond to this. I actually started filming my hunts right after high school (Class of '62 RULZ). We had that fire in '99 and I lost a pile of my footage. The good news was I found over 700 hours of additional stuff that didn't burn up. 700 hours is a lot of footage. If you just watched it Monday thru Friday at a 9 to 5 day... three and a half months from now you aren't done seeing it all yet.  :goldtooth: That will give you an idea of the volume I had to work with. I think I had 4,000 feet of Regular 8MM (not Super 8) film. Most of it is poor compared to todays HD/ digital stuff but I included some of it anyway just for nostalgic purposes. It's interesting to watch the progression from Regular 8, to Super 8, to VHS, to Modern HD cameras. I even asked for forgiveness in that viewers need to consider some of the footage might have been filmed/taped before they were born. Most of the old footage was NOT meant for production purposes. It was mostly filmed for myself, my family/friends and great memories when I got old. Apparently a lot of viewers really have enjoyed watching me bowhunt when I was 100 pounds lighter and had a full head of hair.  :bigsmyl:. Basically I edited the 700 hours of hunting variety highlights down to "only" about four hours. I included some vintage/ nostalgic footage from the early '60s. There's a great variety including chapters on big bucks I passed up for one reason or another; educational stuff; hunting memories; bear hunting; walk-up/kills; shooting/practicing; hogs/javies; very rare footage, including a walking, free-range wild potential world record typical whitetail buck; some of my own personal bowhunting footage of Paul Schafer; some bowfishing; and a very short chapter of me missing a couple  I have some here at the house. If anyone is interested you can email me at barrywensel@hotmail.com. It's a pretty good deal for about 4 hours of entertainment for $20. plus $5. S&H. I can take personal checks or Money orders here at home. Just email me first and let me know what you'd like.
I also have the two volume "Out and About" set for $40. (another 4 hours total) and that one includes First Class USPS postage. Over the years most of my videos have been more entertainment, whereas this two volume set is mostly educational strategies and secrets that have worked well for me bowhunting fully mature whitetails. I don't guarantee much but I'll guarantee it'll make you a better whitetail hunter.
I've been pretty much in lockdown with the Covid stuff, so won't be doing any/many shows for awhile. That means I'll be home, so will be able to fill orders right away. I hope all this info is okay with Terry... he probably knew I'd chime in.  :goldtooth: Best wishes to all for a heathy 2021. Thanks Terry.  BW  aka UB
