I just got back from Crane Texas. We had a great time, but it was really cold. We had a great group of guys. Jack from Oklahoma that goes by Papa Jack was the only one from last year. We had three guys from Virginia, and one from Iowa. I'll get some pictures up here shortly.
Jack doesn't post so I'll post this up for him.

There were a lot of hogs that were coming up behind the house where there was a bait site, and where a rancher would spill cattle cubes. I went down one night, and there were a bunch of eleven back there. I got as close as I thought I could, and was trying to get a shot. This hog was messing around a tree just off to my left. I finally realized he was there when I heard him. He came out and started right toward me. I didn't want to shoot him in the head so I aimed off a bit. I hit him just right,he went about ten yards.
It didn't scare the rest of them off,so I went and told the rest of the guys. Robert a guy from Virginia came out and got a shot, but we never found him.
Here's one Bill and Tim got.

Piggies down! Sounds like y'all had a great trip.
I can't imagine they get a lot of snow in that area, so that will make this hunt extra memorable!

It sure will James. It snowed hard a couple of days. There were some of the most gorgeous sunset I have ever seen. My phone does not do them justice.

Tim and I had a really nice stalk the last day. I knew where some hogs were coming in,and since it was so cold out they were coming in all times of the day. We got over there, and came up with a game plan. I was going to stay back and try to catch them coming out while Tim stalked in. He got to 25 yards, and took a shot, and went over his back, but he was pretty stoked about the stalk.
Congrats.
Looks like a great hunt in Canada!!! :biglaugh:
In all seriousness, look like y'all had a great time. Congrats on all your critters!!!

I hope this works.
I finally got this video up that Joe sent me. It is working on my computer. Tim shot a hog with his Widow recurve, and they jumped it and it took off,and Joe got his dogs on it and took this video.

Jacob got there the day we were leaving, but he sent me this picture of one he got.

It looks like the cold weather paid off.
Cool. Looks like y'all had a good trip. Snow and prickly pears just don't seem right.
It was very cool Terry. I loved seeing all the snow. Things were really moving!
Congratulations Rick! That had to be more satisfying than sticking beer cans. :bigsmyl:

Here's your old friend Dan! I didn't seem to have a picture with the bow, because I came back in to let the others get a shot as the hogs didn't leave.
I didn't shoot any beer cans, but did drink a lot of them :biglaugh:
Hey congratulations AT. Looks like a great time. Tough in the cold but productive.
