Title: cedar under glass

have any of you used cedar if so how did it turn out? in a recurve making up most of the core. my concerns are it being soft will it hold up. and oils in the wood and glue.

I think it would make a good core wood. May have to add a little to your stack to hit poundage. I use a lot of knotty red cedar for veneers.

those make my cedar look a little plain
