I plan to be in the Rome Georgia area early this summer and would love to be able to get in a hog hunt, does any have any guide recommendations.

Thank you

Jerry Russell (Russell Outdoor guide service) is a sponsor here and guides in Georgia. Further south Greg Campbell of Swamphunts.com offers hog hunts.

Jerry guides on our trad lease in the off season. Its just above macon and has WAY too many pigs.

You can pm jerry but I think we are on a waiting list. Pretty sure we are the last trad only lease in the state.

I second the Jerry Russell recommendation.  But have you ever been to GA in the summer?  Hope you don't mind a little heat, humidity, snakes and skeeters...🤓

My buddies and I bowhunt hogs in GA every year, but never in the summer.  Just finished our annual PBS hog hunt in GA earlier this month on public land with good success.

Thanks Team I get the heat and bugs and all but getting a chance to hunt a hog doesn't happen very often up north here, seems the piggies don't like our NY attitudes. No worries, I'll bring my gear and wander the woods and enjoy the scenery.

Look me up when ya get here.

I've ran around in the woods all my life, with no snake boots.  Funny thing is the only guy I know that got snake bit was playing basketball a third of a mile from the court house .

Bring a thermacell...

Sweating detoxs the body....

Jerry Russell is the real deal, I was at one of his bear camps and had best experience of my life, he works hard for you and cares about your experience.
