I saw the above mentioned outfitter advertised in the Compton's quarterly magazine. They advertise being "traditional friendly". I'm looking for anyone who's hunted there and can speak to the operation. I've been burned once before on a "trad friendly" outfitter and don't want to go down that road again. Thanks!

Judging by the lack of responses it looks like I'll be the first Tradgang member to report on this operation :goldtooth:. I spoke with the owner of the outfit yesterday on the phone and am pleased with my initial impression. He's a recurve shooter himself so he completely understands the needs of a traditional archer. He only has 3-4 hunters in camp at a time and has been at it for over 40 years. Also, no money down is required. He stated that there's enough uncertainty these days in the world that if someone can't make it, for whatever reason, the hunter isn't out any money and there's no unnecessary drama regarding refunds. What a breath of fresh air! So, I'm going to settle on some dates and have him pencil me in the calendar.

What are you planning on hunting?

I would absolutely hunt with Chuck again. In fact if I wasn't going bear hunting in Idaho this September, I would be going back to Wyoming to hunt antelope. If you have any questions about his setups, lodging...message me or post em here.
