Hi all ! First post here for me, I've played with traditional bows off and on for many years. Any how I'm wondering if anyone here can identify this bow I came across. It's been painted camouflage so I can't tell. It measures 53" from tip to tip. [attachment=1,msg2945762][attachment=2,msg2945762][attachment=4,msg2945762]

Herter's Stika
Thank you ! That was fast. I'm guessing this would be considered the 52" ?
If it measures 53" from tip to tip, it is probably a 56" bow, because the length of a bow is measured along the curve.

That was pretty cool looking through them old catalogs, I actually remember some of those ads from when I was a kid.
This bow sure looks identical to the factory camo. Thanks Tony

That is a great sight. Always pass my idle time going through that collection. Most all the old catalogs are there.
Good luck with the bow. :archer2:

Herter's Stika - brings back memories. I still have my first bow which is the Herter's Stika, but in the 66" length. It is 65 # bow. I shot a lot of animals with it over the 18 years I shot it. Just got it out last week and shot in a long time. Still "stacks" like always. Ha The arrow speed was pretty slow compared to bows today. Have a little twist in the lower limb, but still fun to shoot. I also still have the catalog I order it from and the receipt. I paid $50. for it.
