This year??
Hmmmm.... :coffee:
Yes we need one :jumper:
I'm just bringing up the subject, I don't even know if I'm a participant. Just wondered if it was going to be on.
I would be in.
In as well!
Well Dave who ran it last year hasn't been in here for quite some time, he has other commitments going elsewhere.
So someone needs to step up and run the bow swap if ya all want one.
Any volunteers?
Hi Friends.
I really like this event and it is important to go on for community.
If there is no body step up, I can be volunteer to run the event. (even I still do not know if I will be in, since frigging high custom taxes )
I can take a swing at heading the event if we still want to do it this year. If anyone has prior experience or some firsthand knowledge with running the swap I would greatly appreciate your guidance. Let's see if we have enough interested to get this going, post up if you're in!
Maybe you and inksoup could work together on it. I think it is a bigger project than it seems when just watching from the forum.
I've thought it through and if we are decided it's a "go" then I'm in.
Oh I can imagine it's like herding cats blindfolded while in a separate room. I'm all for working with Ink, I just posted up because there still hasn't been any movement since he volunteered and I want to make sure the opportunity is there if the interest is. Up to 3 now!
Man you must have ran one before. That is about how it is. :biglaugh :biglaugh:
I would be in if it flies.
And then there were four. Anyone else interested?
Come on folks. :)
Change the title to Bow swap, who's In?
I'm in
I'd like to say I'm in, but I don't feel like I am nearly skilled enough to be swapping a bow for the some of the works of art I see posted here. When does the deadline to commit normally occur?

you should wait for next year, All of us were Newbie's at one time
Sometimes , someone in the swap has to make 2 or 3 bows or more to get one to ship.
Stick around and make some bows and ask more questions, lot's of info. here ;)

I've done 3 so far, but I agree that next year would be better.

I'm not sure I'll have time this year. I'll think it over.
For years I participated in the bow swaps here and on PA. My bow building is on the decline so I won't be involved in the swap this year but I will be cheering from the peanut gallery. :clapper:  :smileystooges: :banghead: :knothead:   :archer: :archer2:

You don't have to make a sinew shorty, Just do a easy one for you, a flip tip :jumper:
Come onnnnnnnnnn!
Spoke with ink this morning. We think there is enough interest to get this going so the signup thread will be posted shortly.
Woo Hoo! :)
Sorry, the boss is editing the signup thread right now. Apparently I'm too negative and condescending...
We are live folks!
