Well, the final two weeks of Michigan bow season is upon us. I'm making the final push. Hoping something like this makes a mistake this late in the game:

The PA late season starts Dec 26th. A very hard season to hunt. But if the weather is not too cold, I hope to give it a try.
Good luck boys - I'm still trying in MO

My blind awaits, I'm giving my eye time to heal a little after cataract surgery.

The Blacktail is 10 pounds lighter so a little better for late season
Sharp...
That Shrew looks pretty sweet. Our bow season goes all the way to the end of Jan. in my county. Good luck this late season!
Good luck all you late season hunters, boy do I wish I was in the snow sitting in a tree ..... REALLY
I have pictured of two of them things and they are after dark also
I'm Still trying, beautiful time to be in the woods.
It's a tough time to hunt, but it's also special in it's own way.
Very peaceful in the Michigan forests this time of year. Hoping a nice buck recovers from being hounded by 'The Orange Army' and wanders by my old butt . . .
Good luck Dennis. Hope you have a good buck traipse by your stand.
I had to give up for the year. I have never seen so few deer in my 40 years of hunting.
I've been hunting hard in the L.P. simce coming home for Christmas, and like mentioned above, I have never seen so few deer. Not even fresh tracks. The DNR has succeeded in removing all of the deer in our area with their shoot everything brown that moves licensing system. Add to that an unusually high amount of rifle shots after dark and there you have it. No deer left. It's crazy how quickly the deer herd in our area has been declining. We don't even have CWD up here yet, at least nothing confirmed. I'll keep at it but it gets pretty discouraging when it reaches the point where you're excited just to see a day old track in the snow. Good luck to everyone still out there!
