I hope a joke can be allowed in these depressing Corona times. This is how we make arrowshafts in Norway.

:biglaugh:
That's great Bue.
How many blocks of wood per dozen :biglaugh:
What cha season them with. :bigsmyl:
The blocks must be without knots otherwise the knots are transferred to the finished shafts.
Very nice Bue.
I'll fix pictures later, on my fone now.

You season them with viagra for a stiffer spine
If you put a 5 hp motor on it you can feed it whole logs. Mass production! 😁
Dave.
Good one MAX :biglaugh:
What do you use to bind them together pine pitch? 😆
If that seasoning is correct they prolly be noodley after the shot.
The sad thing is there are people out there who would think that you are actually making real arrow shafts after seeing your pictures, plus the same people vote.
Ok, someone needs to ask, how do you adjust that gizmo to get the spine weight you want?
I have studied the picture and cant see how that could be adjusted. :dunno:
 :clapper:

1/4 viagra for 600's
1/2 for 500
3/4 for 400
1 for 320
Thats one way to get the "shaft" Thats a bad mutha machine.
That's really funny ! My family is of Norwegian heritage and there was always a sense of humor in everything .
Max I need 800s??
Your in luck, they come out 800's
Sometimes they come out stiff at both ends and soft in the middle or vice versa.
Bue that must be older wood :bigsmyl:
Funny. Nice workshop too! Jawge
Bue, have a question.
Isn't that handle gonna hit the workbench when ya turn it?
Don't get hung up on trifles. :)
:wavey:
Ahhhh ... right-handed shafts I see. Do you have one of those for Lefties?
Im really upset at all this banter Bue....Thats how I make mine
What's funny is someone will search TG for shaft making info and bring this topic up to ask for more details. :)
I've had several PM's asking if Bue has lost his mind:)
I replied, "YEP"

You mean to say that's not how they're made?! Now I'll have to return the meat grinder I just bought for the purpose! 🤬😉
Dave.
I lost it a long time ago, still looking for it, but doing allright without it, I think. :)
if I sweep up the saw dust from under my saws and sanders and run that through will that work just as well as starting with chunky wood? :bigsmyl:
Funny!
Now your going to have splinters, in your ham salad!
:notworthy:
Just came across this today....This is quite funny! Appreciate the sense of humor especially in these difficult times! :)
Id pay a pretty penny for a machine that could actually do that.
