Ha! I'll bet you were expecting to see some big antlers. :biglaugh: Well, so was I, but since I had a doe tag I didn't see any reason to pass up a good shot at her.
I was surprised that I could even get a shot at her. I was in a phone pole type of tree with very little cover. The doe that was ahead of her reacted to my movement briefly, but the doe didn't pick that up. Phew!
I didn't realize how big she was at first. When I dressed her I couldn't get through the brisket which never happens. And we were surprised at how much trouble we had dragging her. I didn't weigh her but would guess she went 140lbs.
