Ron had most of over to his new farm cabin for an in person showing. Missing is Tim Cosgrove who was back at the Elm Hall shoot manning the Shrew bow booth (34 Super Shrew bows on hand!!!). We gave our stamp of approval and as we were leaving a flock of 30 geese set in on Ron's lake getting the fall hunting season adrenaline pumping (our early goose season starts September 1). Talk of the upcoming camp and hunting stories of old were told. The Elm Hall shoot was great and the course was well done.

Sure would have been nice to meet y'all ! I must have been down at camp cleaning up after feeding Ron, Tim and Ryan breakfast lol. This is the first time for myself and a buddy to attend but it will definitely not be the last. Great people , hospitality , courses and food !!! Has to be one of the best shoots I have ever attended. Ron did invite us to check out his new little cabin so that will be the first stop before heading home. If you have never attended this shoot I HIGHLY recommend that you add it to your list of shoots that you attend. Can't wait until next year and I'm still here :biglaugh:
Steve, I feel your journey. I've been cooking for Ron, Tim and Ryan's dad at camp for years. Ron does make one of the meanest breakfast burritos this side of the Mississippi however 👍👍
I've been told stories of all the great meals , I hear Ron's squirrel and gravy is like none other. We camp about a mile from Tim's new house during hunting season Tim , Eric and his buddies all come over to our camp opening weekend of the boom sticks for a big venison taco feast and opening weekend of archery we all gather at the box car for a big meal there. Some of the best weekends of the season ! Great group of guys
House warming, my first company in the new cabin

Very neat.
Wow... great stuff!
Ron keep stuff like this coming. There will come a day we won't see this anymore. A different world today that will only get worse for the lifestyle we live.
A PLACE
We need a place where we can go
a place like written by Henry David Thoreau
There to absorb the marrow of life
and leave behind our worries and strife
Me thinks this is the place for me
A place I can set my Spirit free
that I may live out my remaining days
in peaceful bliss with natures ways
