Post by: Terry Green on June 20, 2020, 01:27:03 PM
If you had not paid please do so....

If you have paid and have not contacted the donator to provide an address please do so to get your item shipped....

We are trying to sew up the auction for a final total.  Thanks.  :campfire:

To all the winners, you need to contact the person who donated the item and arrange shipping.

Terry, some of the winners have had trouble contacting you for items you donated.

Walt....  All they have to do is email me, it's that simple.  My email address is in my profile and in my signature.   It's been there for years and it's worked fine.

I've had this email since March of 2003 and if someone's having trouble contacting me it's on their end.  If for some reason they can't seem to figure out how to email me based on my address being available..... They can make a post here on Tradgang.

I do not do pms and I never have and webmaster is not me.

Thanks guys n gals.  :campfire:

I have three gizmos sitting on my desk waiting.... Two haven't been paid for, one guy paid and sent me an address without a zip code and doesn't respond to numerous PMs.

Like you I would like to put this project to bed as well.

I got one gizmo mailed when the winner supplied me with the right address.

I am still looking for for proof of payment for the other two. In life you never know the circumstance these guys might be facing, especially during the pandemic.

I may have a couple of very nice gizmos to re-post on the side for St Jude Donations, one is made of exhibition grade walnut, one is curly maple.

Perhaps we should establish a cut off time for payment and re-post the unpaid items on a special follow up bid section or offer the item to the next highest bidder.

Here is the walnut one;

I've had folks going directly to the St Jude webpage and just forwarding their automated emailed receipts from St Jude to me.  Thus far I've cleared $5118.96 in 39x transactions for shipping with this method.

Eric,  we won't be offering a cut off/reposting date.  That would create havoc.  Think about it.

I'm going to make a post.  Anyone else looking for an address should make one if they like.

There are not that many hold outs, if we could contact them and see if they are unable to follow through because of a change in circumstance it would be a simple matter to offer the item to the next highest bidder.

My guys won't answer a PM but have been on the Trad Gang site in the last few days. PMs are hard to ignore because you get a drop down telling you to look at your messages.

Did you figure this out?

Also, did you win an item I donated?  I can't find one.

Eric, offering to the next highest is something we've done maybe 3 times I the 16 years of hosting an auction.  Looks like we may have to do it this year.

We just can't set a presidence by re-posting/re-auctioning items.

I know Doug would send in money in June and a 2nd  batch in July as it took till mid July or so for all the donations to drift in.

I am trying to contact my two guys to see if they are still interested, I will see if they are. I also asked their permission to move on if they have lost interest. Both of these items are one bid so there are no next highest bidders. I can move these things in a heart beat if the bidders give me permission, again, I will be offering them for a St Jude donation.
