Found this little leg near our house today.
I'm afraid it's from this little one.
Looks like time to do some coyote hunting/trapping
Time to thin out the yotes.
:campfire:
Mother nature can seem cruel sometimes but predators have babies to feed too.
Coyotes do kill a bunch of fawns but so will a big ole tom cat. Brother almost killed their cat when it came for a new born he had fished out of the river. He said the second time around cat met a size 12 steeltoe boot that sent him half way to the barn and that convinced him he didn't like venison.
Cats are the number one poachers
Will be hard to tell where it came from. The highways are loaded with dead deer this time of the year. I drove up to the cabin the other day and quit counting the dead deer.
Black bears also pray on spring fawns

Black bears ,cats ,coyotes and man its a wonder there are any deer at all .Bears are especially bad on elk calves ,coyotes eat a lot of deer here in the Dakotas .
I vote 'yote. They are getting really bad even in the suburban areas these days.
The biggest thing that bothers me is, this is about 50 feet from our front door.
I also setup my trail camera s few weeks ago to get some bird pictures for my wife.
I had one picture at around 3:00 pm and I could see a yote wher I stand at my archery range.
The pic wasn't good enough to post here because if you zoom in, it's too grainy and you can't make it out.
You're back to shooting now with your new release. Maybe it's time you put out a hit on those 'yotes. Are they open season in Michigan? :archer2:
