Talking with a fellow heavy arrow shooter and he offered to send me a couple bunches he had laying around to see how they worked.

That's awfully nice of him. Such honest concern and fellowship for each other sounds pretty common around here. I honestly feel that traditional archery gurus are in general among the highest class and character of the hunting community as a whole.
He went through the stash of old arrows and came up with a bunch of heavy hardwoods that I'll be able to test and decide what will work best for me. Awesome!!!

Always good stories here. Can't wait for hunting season to open up so we can hear more hunting yarns too!
Certainly worth the wait.

Received a tube with 9 Mahogany arrows and 5 Leopard wood arrows. I'll see if I can shoot tonight, it has been long day in the sun. Thanks so much Justin.

Yes it sure is. :coffee:
A most discernable mark of the traditional family.
Indeed.

The sharing of info and tricks of the trade are super time savers. Years of knowledge, trial and error packed into a text or thread.

My favorite is when I read a thread, and a single line from someone like Mr. Charlie Lamb will solve a couple years worth of conundrum for me. It's even better when that line is part of a thread I've read 15 times over the years. :banghead:
There's a lot of good folks with decades of experience on here.
Information certainly moves and passes around much faster these days.
