Title: Sawmill STAR 2020 Question
Post by: Ton H on June 04, 2020, 01:33:47 PM
Hi - does anyone know if Sawmill Archery Rondesvous is happening at the end of June?  I can't seem to figure out where that stands right now. Thanks for any info.

I just read this on the skisawmill.com website.

"As of right now we are still planning on having our Traditional archery festival June 25-28, 2020. Because things are changing day to day, and week to week, we will post prior to the shoot any Covid-19 safety guidelines that would pertain specifically to us, and keeping you safe. We believe because our events at Sawmill are typically smaller in nature and spread out over 100-120 acres that we will be able to keep all social distancing and safety regulations in order to keep people safe and happy! We look forward to a great weekend and seeing you all in June. Be advised we will post more as details come out closer to the shoot."

I hope it doesn't get canceled.  Its a great shoot to attend, with good courses and not too crowded.

We're only a week and a half away from this event.  I can't find any updates on the status.  I'm thinking about making the drive from VA to PA just for this event.  Has anyone heard anything?

Just looked at their website; the schedule dates are there but no update. Try this: Phone: 570-353-7521.

Someone on another site called and spoke to someone at sawmill and he just posted that they said it is a go.
