Finished my first trade point arrow build last night, I'm hooked! Douglas fir shaft from surewood shafts, trade point made out of a circular saw blade, fletched with wild turkey primary feathers (donated by a buddy), self nock and wrapped with artificial sinew. The broadhead weighs in at 163gr. It shoots very well and that extr weight up front really hits the target hard. It came out too short for my DL so it'll be a gift to my buddy who gave me the feathers.
Nice arrow. Should have no trouble doing what it was intended to do.
