Under stay at home orders for at least the next two weeks here in Michigan so I had my wife shave a Simmons Treeshark into my hair. She did a pretty good job for not being a barber but I think we need a better pair of clippers. We are gonna be catching up on a lot of home projects in the next couple weeks and I will be shooting a bunch. For those on stay at home orders what kind of fun things are you doing to fill your days?

The western channel is running Hopalong Cassidy movies all day today. I have watched 6 or 7 so far today.

Same here, sans the hair cut. Trying to tune and break in a bow, shooting, waiting on some arrows, doing a bit outside and other then that all is normal, no wait..... all of that IS normal.
Shooting Hope for a day or two more. Today will be aluminums. Also, hiking the creek bed with heavy pack to get ready for when AT opens back up.
:coffee: :campfire:
Shot a round at my club this morning by myself with my dog Lupe. I've gotten into cast iron cooking, and will probably watch a few Cowboy Kent videos on YouTube this afternoon to figure out what I want to cook tomorrow. So far I'm just letting my hair grow. I'm pretty sure I'll have to do something about that before the quarantine is lifted, so I'll probably have to ask Nancy to cut it, which is something I'm not looking forward to.
Gary ,
I think that's a Knapped head not a tree shark lol.. :biglaugh:
Just kidding but I can see it...
Wish I had enough hair to try that ... :biglaugh:
Looks good she did a great job....! I have about caught up on all my projects and finished ALL my honey do lists.. I found myself standing at one of my bow racks last week and next thing I knew I was holding the only Bear bow I own... I worked up proper arrows and have been shooting this grayling green Super Kodiak everyday. Fun! Fred designed an awesome shooting quiet bow. I've decided I am hunting with this bow come September.

I hope you get lots of good stuff done, but hopefully this problem will soon lessen. I'm pulling for y'all in Michigan, because my daughter teaches at Michigan State there in Lansing. We are hunkered down here in GA also. I have been doing a lot of shooting and some equipment maintenance. I'll forego the haircut since my wife is not a haircutter and my regular person is also shut down. It is good to see that people are coping reasonably well and still getting some archery time into the mix. I've got to order some supplies to finish up some arrows I have had in the works for a very long time. Good luck to all and, hopefully, we can all soon gather in large groups to enjoy shooting together. In the meantime, pray fervently and follow the advice of the medical heroes who are working and sacrificing for us.
I work at a respiratory equip manufacturing plant, my wife works at the drug store. We still have jobs and are very busy.
I did get out a bit Saturday with my Brackenbury. I saw my first groundhog of the year and tried to put the sneak on it. It was a big bugger sitting on top of a rock pile on the edge of the woods. With the lack of cover it spotted me and dove down its hole.
I checked out the fresh dirt it pushed out of the den and there was part of an Easton Blues in the mound. Last time I saw it was July '19 as a hog I just drilled took it down the hole. Cool :)
It was a good day to get out, breathe some warm air, and forget about all the crap going on.
Everyone stay well.
Just as bored here in WI. I haven't resorted to cutting my hair yet, and no Hop A Long Cassidy shows, but I am getting in my fair share of Perry Mason re-runs. As soon as the weather warms a bit and it stops raining, I'll be going on some looong walks. Stay Well !!
You guys are lucky because my wife has a never ending honey do list. Every time I think I'm caught up she adds six more and I'm retired.
A little shooting at the club and backyard. Filled in some gravel in the backyard by the patio. Have been painting two gadwall decoys for the last two weeks. It's so tedious I can't work on them all day and the thinner gives me a headache.
Good one Keefer! When finished my wife said, "well, it kinda looks like a broadhead but it ain't very sharp". I think that was a shot, ha ha. reddogge - post up a picture of your decoys when you get em done! At this point in time I'm glad to have a freezer full of venison, goose and duck. Oh, and squirrel. And there's still two days to add squirrel before I switch to fishing. Keep yer heads up guys! We'll get through this!
Nice cut!
I've put in a new fenced in raised bed garden, a new planter in the front yard, and organized the garage.
Next on the list is build a deck off our back porch, stain our concrete porch, then maybe fix up the kids playscape some.
I am at work doing my thing.
Working from home.
Nice hair cut. I expect my next one will be a do it at home job. As far as work, I work in trucking. Been busier than ever. Good for the owner, not so much with stress.
Getting good headstart on spring cleanup. Got my mower blades sharpened and have rolled yard twice. Installing lights on garage today and for fun been shooting dailey. Started new selfbow and will work on it quite a bit. My lovely wife can always think of new things should I get bored lol
Working from home but it's not the same as going to work. Sharpened a knife while sitting around waiting for an email or two to come through. I used to shoot in the garage a bit, then the garage got a little more junk in it. I can shoot 9 yards inside with the door closed on a straight shot. Might be clearing out that lane soon. I'm still able to get to local outdoor range. Maybe a little stump shooting in order.
