Title: Donating Bow Quivers For St. Jude Kids
Post by: 2fletch on March 24, 2020, 08:20:52 PM
Recently I tried 3 times to list bow quivers on Tradgang unsuccessfully for St. Jude, then I posted on Ebay. One bow quiver has now sold and another one is currently being bided on. It is a Cherokee J-1 model in Crazy Horse Buffalo leather. They were made for the St. Jude Auction and the proceeds will be donated to Tradgang for St.Jude kids. At this point I don't know how many of these quivers will be made and sold for this good cause, but if you are looking for a unique item at a good price then don't waste this opportunity. You can go to Ebay and look for "EFA Buffalo bow quiver". That should bring it up. Remember, it's for the kids!  Please bid it up and good luck.

Has anyone else had trouble submitting photos for St. Jude auction?

I'm offering a quiver on the St Jude's Auction.  As with other photos I've submitted to Trad Gang in the past, I've had to reduce the size of the photo to under 1 mb before it would load.  I don't know if this limit applies to each photo, or all the photos you submit in one post, because I've never submitted more than one photo per post.  There are apps available to edit photos, which include size reduction, and other ways, such as emailing the photo to yourself.  However, recently I've found that whenever I select a photo to be posted on-line, I automatically am asked the question of what size I want, which is probably something that Apple added in one of their periodic updates to my iPhone.

Edit:  it should also be possible to post a photo by linking to some on-line website where photos are posted.  We used to do that all the time with Photobucket, until the debacle that held all our photos for ransom unless we agreed to pay an exorbitant fee.  I still do that with videos by posting them first to YouTube.  But with this site accepting directly posted photos now, I find it easier to just reduce the size and post them directly.

Thanks for the info. I tried downsizing, but probably not enough.

McDave, I believe that the last effort was successful. Now there is one on Tradgang and one currently on Ebay. Love those kids!
