Ron....always loved your bows...since back when I owned 2 Samurais.
I took and hunted Africa with the last bow I got from you.

Your bows are always a pleasure to totes afield.

The end of February I received my 54" Classic Hunter ll nicaragua cocobolo riser and limbs, looks beautiful. Talked to Tim at Kustom King a few times about length, so glad I dove in to the short bow idea, its everything Henry Bodnik says in the video with Ron, no stack or finger pinch at my 28" draw . So fun to shoot. Had it in woods stumping three times and it slides through brush with ease. I made a mistake and shot 2 arrows at same spot at 18 yards and destroyed my fletch. Love this bow. Harvest pictures in the future!
The Shrew design is something I began developing years ago.
I wanted a short, light, maneuverable bow that excelled as a
hunting tool. Over the years I have worked with several bowyers
who helped me create functional examples of my ideas. Very slightly,
very slowly, the Shrew design has evolved over time. I believe the
current design is the culmination of my life's work. At this stage of
Shrew development, I felt it was time to produce bows consistent with my
exacting design. Quality, consistency of manufacturing, the ability to
shorten lead times and hit promised delivery dates is what drew me
to Henry Bodnik and Bearpaw. We are going to put Shrew bows in the
hands of more people than ever,
and they are the best bows we have ever produced
Ron,
Just out of curiosity, I draw depending on bows between 29.5 to 30 inches. what would you recommend for bow length of your bows?
Thanks!
The 52" will take a 29" draw so for you I'd recommend a 54 or 56" in a Classic Hunter
Thanks Ron, that's what I thought, but I figured I would confirm with the gentlemen that knows best!
