guys I got a new bow today. I was excited to say the least .Let me start out by saying I have never talked to or met chad from lost creek bows until we had this deal . I have a praise for someone I give credit where credit is due and a guy that made this bow deserves some congrads . This is a lost creek longbow a 54" bow Yes you all read right 54 "s .I thought when I was talking to chad that this bow wasnt going to be what he said. He said it was smooth drawing ,fast, quiet and stack free out to 29 inches . Well he was right about everything I couldnt believe this little short longbow was so forgiving. It is also forgiving at the target I shot groups that were a little better than my 62 " navaho at 20 yards. When you shoot it you have to cant the bow a little more but its hits where your looking at . This is going to be my blind bow perfect size ! Its not only a great shooter but its also a looker . riser is rosewood dymond wood the limbs are red elm and has a cloth core in the limbs it has tip overlays and is fast flight compatible . the grip is super very easy on the hand and has a small thumb rest that is located in just the right spot . Guys if your thinking about a short stack free longbow thats accurate and a pleasure to shoot and easy on the pocket get ahold of chad at lostcreekbows.com he has bows starting at 400.00 well worth it . here's to you Chad

Geez, (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f29/mrviclisco/Kyle-icon.gif) Dorris That baby is sure a LITTLE sweetie. Is it 54" unstrung or 54" strung? and what is it strung if not 54" strung? (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f29/mrviclisco/taunt002.gif)Either way that would make a very nice sit in the chair and shoot bow. How fast is it? (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f29/mrviclisco/icon_1_lol.gif)
Mr Vic its 54 unstrung 51 1/2 this is string grove to string grove . yes it will be a nice sit in the chair bow thats exactly what i planned on it being out of my blind . people are really going to be talking when they come by and see me sitting in my chair shooting . there going to be saying look how lazy he is gotta sit down to shoot his bow . :bigsmyl: as far a how fast is it ? its as fast as it can shoot . and i am shooting it as fast as i can . :goldtooth: better get you one of these babys ./
I will have to wait for steve to come back down with the scale and chrono . or maybe reviveourhomes will loan me his stuff . :D Just kidding lewis I promise I am kidding .
:smileystooges:
Mr. Vic,
I have shot one of Chad's bows. If the "RICE BURNER" can take it thru a speed trap, I better sell my design to O.L.. LOL!!!
Good looking Bow Dorris.
Why am I looking here instead of working on SOMETHING in the garage??? It's your fault Vic! LOL!!!
It's because you love us Caster!
Mr Vic all you gotta do is shoot it as hard as you can shoot it and it will shoot as fast as it can . LOL
A beauty for sure!! The only thing I can see wrong with it is the shelf is cut on the wrong side of the riser........
Heck, i forgot you was a lefty Jeff. No need to chrony that thing, All left handed bows shoot slow anyway.
SIMPLE,BUT THATS AWSOME LOOKIN!!!!
LOVE THE WOOD COMBINATION!!!

Jeff, thanks for the pictures and info on your new bow. I just sent Chad an e-mail. I'm very interested in a short 52" or 54" longbow. Brokenwing
thats great john gerrad you wont be disapointed .
Dorris I'm glad you like the little bow. Seven bow forms later I finally got the short bow where I like them. I make this bow 54 to 56 its called the Lost Creek " NAT". This stands for Not A Toy. I also Build the Lost Creek Longbow in 58 and 60 its called the Lost Creek Super Stick.
I've got a new Lost Creek coming in a few days. It's going to be beautiful, 56 in. 53@27 Green stained action-boo under clear glass with a green camo action wood riser. This is my 3rd. Lost Creek longbow from Chad. My son has the first longbow Chad made and its a great shooter also. I'll post pics as soon as I get it. Don Wilson
