....this past December that I became a Tradgang member and I had NO idea of how many doors it would open and paths it would lead me down. I've met so many people who I consider great friends. From The Joan Leonard Memorial Bunny Hunt to Bear Quest, I've shared camps with some of the finest people I would have never met other wise. The period from when I started shooting traditional in 1990 to 2009 I was content with just TBM. But once I signed on TG the world seemed to open up for me. It's lead me back to the PBS, and Compton's which in turn lead me to hunts all over the country. Take advantage of every opportunity given to you because life is short!!
that and dont forget to write down ur adventures cuz u WONT remember the details 50 years from now.

hey Woodchucker!! Yup!! I was a one bow guy until I found the Tradgang classifieds!! It's been a great 10 years that went by quick!!
You made me look at my profile, Sean. Coming up on 11 years for me.
And I remember first meeting you in the sporting goods store in La Tuque in 2016 when you were headed out from Bear Quest camp and I was headed in.
And a New Yorker at that. Glad to see there's traditional shooters out here in this state. I joined last fall. I had found that after moving here that I didn't know any bowhunters in NY and was disconnected from the ones in my home state.
Tradgang has been a life changer for myself as well. Next Saturday April 4 will be seventeen years on trad gang for me. Without this site I never would have found PBS let alone become a regular member. All good things came about because Terry made this site happen!
Actually Adam, There are quite a few of us around!! :campfire:
Just where is "upstate" ?? LOL

Well that's good to know. And, capital region. I spend a lot of time in greene and ulster counties as well.
My brother in-law lives in Freehold. Hunt Greene Co. and over in Deleware, where we have a cabin in Walton. Also do some bow/ML on the Livingston State Forest land in Columbia Co.
Another New Yorker myself but down on Long island. Years ago Sean told me about a turkey hunting spot in Delaware County and it paid off one year. Thanks Sean! I hunt Greene and Delaware County myself.
