My long awaited Dryad Orion has finally arrived. Wanted it for turkey season this year. It was cutting it close, but worked out in the end. It took some work to quiet it down but I was able to finally get it. My first bow with static tips. It is a shooter...Gary
congrats and post a pic you know we all love to look at new bows lol
Yeah, you need to post some pics. I have an Orion, to me it sounds VERY noisy, but if I hand it off to someone else to shoot, it just sounds like a regular recurve. There's something about those ACS limbs that sound LOUD to the shooter. A friend of mine has a Dryad Epic with ACS recurve limbs, he had the same issue, it sounded loud to him, but to everyone else (including me) it just sounded like your typical recurve. I really like my Orion, it has the 19" riser with phenolic and bubinga, with "Long" limbs making a 64" bow (really more like a 65" as the string is 62" long).
I tried posting picts 3x can't get them to work, if someone can help me out I can email them to you to post :o
Here are the pictures. Beautiful bow!
