That's my first stickbow I ever bought! An early 90's Bear Grizzly 54# @ my DL. Arrow 560 gr, didn't get the best of penetration but I caught about a 1/2" of that front leg elbow which caused my broadside shot to angle towards the back a lil. Blood was spotty but I sure cracked a smile when I spotted him down after prob 200 yards of wishful thinking
Nice! He didn't make it too far.
Congratulations! Nice hog.

Just so happened to be shooting a Tusker Javelin on this hunt. But I'm not married to any particular head. There's lots of good ones out there. Hogs I typically shoot a 2 blade
Congratulations!! If they weret such a destructive menace I wish we had somw here to hunt. Those big boars aren't the best to eat are they?

I'm not sure on the weight. I know I killed one a few years back that weighed 235# and this one just dwarfed him. Thank god for good friends cause there's no way I could have got this One in my truck without em.
Thank you all for the kind words fellas! Really was a great day. Now time to go find another one! If you haven't had the opportunity to go hog hunting I highly suggest it. Hogs are Taylor made for a bow and arrow. I spot and stalked this guy on some oak ridges. This time of year in my parts visibility is great and they stick out like a sore thumb. After all fall being perched in a tree stand it sure is a blast to take the fight to em. Happy Hunting all....
Nice work congrats!

Great, thank you for the info
Nice pig, congrats
That's awesome! They are the toughest thing that I've ever hunted.
Anything over 250# is big. They can be tough to bring down quickly. Shoot placement is critical, but the bigger they are the harder they fall.
