Just got my new Osage self bow. lots of character and a natural center shot. bottom limb has reflex so looks straight but bends even when drawn. stave had a twist but was tillered around so it has a natural center shot for a RH shooter. riser has african blackwood and horn tips. 52#@ 26 68" based off a eastern woodland "sudbury bow" used by the first nations.
Nice stick. Did you make it? Will you post a full draw pic?
no grumpy bear archery up here in Manitoba. Picture of the bowyer with it at full. Ive been advised to let it settle into my climate so I havn't shot it yet.
Awesome you gonna try to get deer with it this year?
Beautiful tiller and good advise from the builder. Even after a short waiting time I would slowly and gradually exercise it out to full draw before snatching it back to full draw. Very nice selfbow.
Awesome bow. Use it in good health. Jawge
