Anyone interested for July/August next year at Sofala Safaris?
I will be talking to Louis next week.
Hmmmmm.... so what does something like that cost. I need to look it up
A dream hunt, unfortunately it will stay that way for me.
Hope you get a group together from here. Be fun following along.
If you watched the video the miracle hour it shows the price at the end....
$2700.... 6 days of Hunting...... Impala and warthog included.
That is food lodging and everything transportation to and from the airport..... It won't cost you no more than what is posted. The only extra cost would be if you want to shoot other animals..... There are no hidden fees.
I will be talking to Louis next week and find out any other information that might be valuable to us Tradgangers

I know most of Africa is high fence....just curious to the size of property these guys operate. Looks like a very affordable hunt....Africa is definitely a lot of hunt for the dollar!! My daughter is getting married July 11th.....see how this plays out, very tempting. Scott.
Possibly one day
So $2700.00 for 1 Impala and 1 Warthog, everything else has its own trophy fee? Do you have a price list for the other plains game available?
Yes....and Yes

Scott....I'm not sure of the size but it's not a pen. I'm not into that.
It was Winter time and we were hunting over water holes..... As is most of Africa.
Those are good prices. A guide who caters to traditional archery hunters needs is awesome.
Yeah....he and his staff are great....so is the food!!!
That 1st morning breakfast in the Bush was tremendous!
Terry, is there a way to send you a PM?
No....my email is in my signature at the bottom of all my posts....

I've been to Africa 3 times and have never seen any hunting done over bait. I hunted with PH's that traveled to lodges with the best of what the client was looking for. This ranch has the best Eland, that ranch has better kudu and so on. Like going to Kansas for bigger deer than I find here at home.
I've only ever shot one animal over a waterhole also. Just turned out that way not that I had an issue with that.
Not all the places are the same, but they are trying to make a living at this so they must do a good job to survive. I also never felt like I was in a pen/fence reserve. I have watched many animals come and go. under, through and over the fences with ease.
Would be nice to go again, but just too many things on my list, like work, work, and so on.

Yes sir..... I'll about got ran over by 25 eland one morning while we were stalking.
I could probably be tempted. Anything at this camp for non-hunters? My wife may not let me go back without her. She loves Africa
Dream hunt for me. Can't make it happen next year, maybe the following year.

I'm not sure what your wife is looking for but this camp is in the Bush....
Hey...I will add that she is welcome to sit in the blind with you as that is common for hunters bringing their wives. There will be tons of animals to photograph. Just no town around. They said the nearest hospital is 100 miles away.
Just got off the phone with rep in US.....
I'm sure Louis will be in touch soon as I always love chatting with him
I just got off the phone with Louis....looks like we might put something together this summer....just need 4 to 5 guys to go ....
