My Dad was Earl Hoyt's general manager at Hoyt Archery in St. Louis when I was young. Dad brought me home a 15# little Hoyt recurve sometime in the early 1970's. This started a bowhunting lifestyle. This year is my 33rd bow season none of them would have happened without him. After years of looking I finally found a like new condition 52# Hoyt Pro Medalist Hunter probably made during my Dad's time at Hoyt. This season my goal was to kill a whitetail with this PMH just to honor my Dad that started it all for me. The week of Halloween has always been good to me. Apologize about the dark early morning pics.

Nice! I'd be interested in hearing any details you can share on the bow since I'm using a classic bow as well.
She got tricked! Good job!

Congrats! The old bows will still get the job done. I have killed deer and elk with my birth year Kodiak.

Congrats! Details on the bow, please.
:goldtooth:congrats
Congratulations! Looks like a solid body on her
Just a fun Halloween morning... Then a busy afternoon getting her hung in the "all fridge" deer cooler. My helper will get busy with the grinder next week... I grew up around deer butchering and so will my kids. Family time making memories is simply priceless!
Congrats!

Fifty year old bow info added... It was late the other night when I attempted to post and I couldn't get my pics to load correctly (all operator error)—LoL.
Even sweeter hearing the back story! Congrats again.
Well done with the classic and getting the kids involved with the trip to the grocery store.
Congrats. I'm using an oldie this year also. Cool back story about your dad!
