Hello Fellow Trad-Gangers, word has gotten out that I purchased Bison Gear the end of summer from Angelo and I wanted to give an update on my progress I am still searching for a professional sewer/seamstress that is experienced, reliable and up to the task and have made some headway.
Ideally I would love to find a sewer/seamstress that I could drive to in a reasonable amount of time. Also I am inching along in my progress in all the other aspects of getting Bison gear up & running as well.I appreciate all the past & future customers being patient during this time.In the meantime anyone that would like to be on FUTURE BG mailing list please send me your EMAIL address for list I have started.
ALSO one of the things that is on the List to do with the rebirth of Bison Gear is create a new LOGO,I have been working on it myself and I thought it might be a good idea to open it up to Trad-Gangers because I am sure alot of you guys are more creative than me.THEREFORE I have decided to award a NEW BISON GEAR pack (will be one of the top sellers) if I decide to use the logo created by one of you guys. You are welcome to create as many as you like and if I choose your creation it will become property of Bison Gear with no strings attached so if you do not agree to this please do not submit any creations. My email is imdiablo62@aol.com Thanks a Bunch. Tom Phillips
Great stuff Tom...glad I was with you on one of my most memorable hunts with my Bison Gear. Angelo is a class act...glad to see it being purchased by another .
Lot of new folks here that may not know the history...Bison gear is a highly regarded pack company way before many of the new " start ups'....TOTAL QUALITY FIT N FINISH....And comfort to boot.
I wish the best to Tom.... :campfire:
Pretty cool Tom, I wish you the best of luck.....
I love that you are the main man for Bison Gear I couldn't have picked a better person for the job.
I got a buddy looking at your logo that's an artist and a bow hunter I am sure he will come up with something cool
He did mine and it came out great
Good luck buddy
Great to see you moving along Tom, put me on the list for a new pack when you get up and running, mine is still in great shape but I have owned a Bison Gear pack from each of the other three owners , might as well keep up the tradition.
No I wont sell my pack till the new one is in hand.
I can't wait been looking forward to getting one.
Tom,
Great to hear you are moving along...but you might have to use one of my old Bison Gear packs this winter when come south to hunt so hogs with me :goldtooth:

Congratulations and good luck!
Just a note: I traded for a Bison Gear - First Trip, that needed a small hole patched. Contacted Tom Phillips and told him I traded for the used pack and he sent my a piece of wool to fix the hole. That is way over the top!!! Thanks, Tom. ;-)
Right on Tom! Congrats! Love Bison Gear! I will be in the market for another pack.
Are the packs in the works? I've wanted one of the lumbar packs for a couple years now, just can't find one.
Really look'n forward to the new Bison Gear!
Jason
