Sexy.........
They are beauty's
Pretty nice, but you should bareshaft with field tips before you take them hunting, lol. Seriously, very nice.
What bow is going to have the honor of launching those?
[attachment=1,msg2887361]I have 3 field tipped ones and one judo.
I will be hunting with the the 1st selfbow I made 19 years ago.
That's going to be special. Good luck on the hunt.
BS on the bare shaft , just shoot them with the field points and they will fly just fine from your bow Terry, if you are going to shoot the stone point shoot into foam and push all the way through , dont pull out!
Good hunting buddy!
LOL. I was joking about the bareshafting.
Ah yes sarcasm , now I see , sorry I am a bit slow on that . LOL :bigsmyl:
Those are some great looking sticks!!!
Good luck!
Bisch
Tarz,

Hey Lefty , thanks for the compliment Tom.
I remember a few years back when you shot a nice Black Bear in Quebec with one of my stone tipped arrows with me filming.
Are you hunting this week Terry?
Yes Sir!!!
That arrow is guaranteed to go right where you point it!
It will......MY guarantee :goldtooth:

Yes Sir those are fine arrows and a handsome bow!!! I've bought a couple sets of Ted's eagle arrows and he makes a fine arrow.
Yes, I hope so, this fall.
Hiked the first 60 or so miles of the AT which I believe is just South of were you'd be hunting, slightly similar terrain.
Nice Stuff. Good luck.
Rich K.
Nice! where do you get those?

Just how brittle and durable are the knock ends cut like this?

Yes, but when I hunt Blue Ridge I'm real close to the AT, i.e Springer Mt

That's good to know. I've been wanting Cedar arrows for a long time and may have to go that route instead for the knocks.
Easy to make woodie reinforced self nocks with a Nifty Nocker ... been building a bunch lately. Check in with Ted about that cool tool!

Wow, this thread just keeps of giving! :campfire:
Those self nocks look really nice.
Rich K.
Be still my heart... great arrows Terry and Rob
Yes...... I need to go hunting with this head from Ted and my selfbow..... like now!!!!
OK Terry , we need some action , not words about hunting with that arrow, get out there :bigsmyl:
Geez... working on it Ted.... you want to be after Sunny Hill?
Is he still a sponsor?
Yes he is still a sponser :bigsmyl:
The only thing that would make the arrows look better is a little red paint. Just sayin :readit:
The challenge lies before you....
